Puppies born 5.9.2018 available for reservation
The Scottish Deerhound, a large and graceful, rough-coated sighthound. Originally bred to hunt deer, nowadays conquers hearts and sofas.
Noble, aristocratic, high-spirited, gallant, gentle, kind, affectionate, friendly, even sensitive. Loves its family. Behaves kindly, sometimes even indifferently towards other dogs and people. Loves being part of a pack, but also loves being the only dog in the family. Enjoys the company of other dogs, especially running with other dogs – it is even a vital condition for the deerhound.
Wants to be where its owner’s at, outdoor, on a hike, indoors on the sofa, in the arms of its owner. Is easy to travel with, as long as it is used to it from the puppy stage.
Loves cuddling, nearness and returns faithfulness and affection. Also suitable for families with children, as long as both children and dog have firm and clear rules.
Naturally the deerhound is a dog, with a dogs need for exercise, training and so on. As a puppy it can test the nerves of its owner, but which one puppy does not do that?
In its faithfulness, gentleness and simple regal beauty a breed you must experience first-hand.
Puppies will be available for their new owners starting 1.11. They will have been de-wormed, checked by a veterinarian, tagged, registered to the Finnish kennel club and tested with the MyDogDNA-test
